Shoreline Protection:
Cruickshank Construction has the products and expertise to solve any shoreline erosion problem. We produce shoreline protection materials at our quarries – these range in size from small sized gabion stone to large armour stone of several tonnes each. The high-quality limestone meets the strict specifications for clean, durable rock particles. |

We have helped to protect the shoreline of many properties along the St. Lawrence Seaway. We have also completed larger shoreline projects at the Royal Military College and at Grass Creek Park in Kingston. The $3.5 million breakwater and marina at Prescott was also built by Cruickshank Construction. |

Drilling and Blasting:
With many quarry operations, we have become drilling and blasting experts. Our technicians have the knowledge and skill to ensure safe, accurate blasting, while limiting noise and vibration. We provide seismic monitoring of all blasting operations. We are frequently hired to conduct drilling and blasting for road excavation and commercial construction. |

Custom Crushing:
Cruickshank Construction operates complete portable crushing spreads. We have both jaw and impeller primary crushers for use depending on the physical composition of the rock source. We have a variety of secondary plants to produce the required shapes of stone particles. We will produce the right gradation and shapes to meet your exact requirements. |

Engineering Services:
Cruickshank Construction is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. We have several licensed professional engineers on staff who can provide technical solutions to your construction problems. We hold a Certificate of Authorization which allows us to provide engineering services to the public. |

Municipal Infrastructure ( sewers, watermains, roads ):
Cruickshank Construction has completed many underground sewer and watermain installations. Whether it involves the servicing of a new subdivision, the reconstruction of existing underground systems, the construction of feedermain or forcemain systems, or the building of stormwater retention facilities, Cruickshank has the experience to complete the job.
Equipment Rentals:
Cruickshank Construction rents construction equipment of all sizes and descriptions and for all needs – from air compressors and welders to dozers, loaders, graders and shovels. We rent for long term or short term use.
Cruickshank Construction holds a provisional Certificate of Approval for a Waste Management System, issued by the Ministry of Environment. This permits the company to transport contaminated soil materials to an approved waste disposal site.
Landscaping:
Cruickshank Construction can assist you with your landscaping needs. We can provide your material requirements whether it be the supply of topsoil or specialized rock products. |
